I really like working out there. The trainers are very helpful. The best thing is that it doesn't ha...ve the locker room smell that turns me off from working out. I like being able to go when I have the time and not when the gym has the time. I'm shy about working out in front of people and at Anytime I can go when there is very few people there. See More

Ugh where do I begin.Avoid this scam of a gym at all cost. They are just taking your money. Its crowded at all times and it's very run down and dirty.Hard to get a good workout when every machine is taken.Theres nowhere to hang your keys and no protein shakes to buy after ur workout.Maybe I expected more since the PF in Palmdale is 100 times better than any PF I've been to.Just not a good vibe at the Alhambra PF.They are even too lazy to enforce their "Lunk" alarm lol I feel guilty giving them 1 star.More like 0 stars. This gym

Anytime Fitness is a 24-hour health and fitness club headquartered in Woodbury, Minnesota. The company operates over 4,000 franchised locations in 50 countries. The gym facilities are open 24 hours a day, 365 days out of the year.[2][3] Chuck Runyon, Dave Mortensen, and Jeff Klinger founded Anytime Fitness in 2002. Runyon is the CEO of the company.[2][4] According to Forbes, Anytime Fitness was the fastest growing health club franchise in 2014.[5] In 2015, Entrepreneur Magazine ranked Anytime Fitness first on its global franchise list.[6]
Chuck Runyon, Dave Mortensen, and Jeff Klinger first met in the early 1990s while working for a fitness club in St. Paul, Minnesota.[7] In 1995, they jointly purchased and ran Southview Athletic Club for seven years. During their ownership of the club, its membership rose from 500 to 4000. They sold the gym in 2001. During their ownership of Southview Athletic Club, they worked for a consulting firm focused on improving under-performing athletic clubs across the United States. They developed the idea for Anytime Fitness after surveying the expectations that long-term members of large gyms had for their fitness clubs.[7][8]
PF Alhambra is a tidy, affordable gym with neat lockers, huge parking lot, free pizza and tootsie roll. LoL. Staff (Mark and co.) are competent, friendly and professional. They should be given a raise! Because they are always dependable. PF is without flaws, the things I abhor is when the machines are out of service, artic blasting A/C on the far back end and the crowded peak hours (M-W; 6pm), however, not as terrible compared to PF Mid-town Olympic blvd branch. The gym goers are friendly, nice and respectful. Similarly, there are good looking fit women in this gym which kinda motivating. Overall, I highly recommend this gym. I can suggest they add more new machines or install a wall  pull up bars like most gym do. I would like to make it happen.
In December 2013, Anytime Fitness purchased a 38-acre site in Woodbury, Minnesota to build new company headquarters.[22] Roark Capital Group acquired a large minority share in Anytime Fitness in March 2014.[9] Erik Morris and Steve Romaniello, two directors from Roark, joined the board at Anytime Fitness after the acquisition.[23] Mortensen and Runyon remained the company's primary holders and continued to run the business.
